Facebook makes the clear history feature available to all users

After a long time, Facebook has decided to make good on its promise. Globally, it is making available the ability to delete history. Thanks to this option, you will no longer be tracked by unwanted sites and apps.

The arrival of this function was recently announced by Marck Zuckerberg. However, it certainly didn't take Facebook long. Back in 2018, they announced the addition of this feature during 2019. From now on, users can delete all the data about what they clicked on Facebook, the sites they visited and many other data that Facebook has.

Facebook explains this feature in more detail as follows:

"When you delete your "non-Facebook activity" we remove the information that identifies you from the data that sites and apps send us. We won't know which sites you visited and what you did on them. We also won't use that data to target ads to you on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.

Most marketers might think that adding this feature would be ignored by the vast majority of users. However, Facebook adds that it will soon remind all users to visit the "Privacy Preview" section and check their settings there.
