LinkedIn is still booming. It is starting to resemble Facebook, but it is still maintaining its growth. This is evident from News Microsoft for the last quarter of 2019.
Compared to the last records, the social network for professionals' turnover has increased by 24% to more than $2.4 billion. Microsoft even mentions the highest engagement ever in the report.
In its report, Microsoft states:
"LinkedIn continues to create economic opportunities for every member of the global workforce. Every seven seconds, someone finds a job thanks to LinkedIn. This quarter, we saw record engagement again."
Unlike other social networks, LinkedIn doesn't just make money from ads. A large part of its revenue comes from premium accounts, which have better analytics and the ability to use LinkedIn to recruit freelancers and employees.
In 3 months, LinkedIn managed to increase the number of users from 660 million to 675 million. This social network is also thriving thanks to the fact that it is not threatened by the fairness of political advertising and fake news. LinkedIn is currently a stable social network that has been on a long-term upswing.
